How to write Good Promt
If you write prompts randomly, you will not get perfect output. To achieve this, you need to add more organized prompts so that you get the best results.
The 3-Part Formula
1. š¦ Set the Stage
Tell Claude who you are and what situation you're in.
"I'm a marketing manager at a small startup..." "I'm a student writing a history essay..."
2. š© Define the Task
Be specific and clear about what you want.
ā "Write something about fitness" ā "Write a 7-day beginner workout plan for someone with no gym equipment"
3. š§ Specify the Rules
Add constraints like format, tone, length, audience.
"Use bullet points. Keep it under 300 words. Write for a 10-year-old."
Quick Tips
Be specific ā vague prompts get vague answers
Give examples ā show Claude what "good" looks like
Say what to avoid ā "don't use jargon"
State the purpose ā "this is for an investor pitch"
Iterate ā if the first answer isn't right, refine your prompt
Before vs. After Example
ā Weak : "Write an email"
ā Strong : "Write a professional follow-up email to a client who hasn't responded in 2 weeks. Keep it friendly but direct. 3 sentences max."
